Pongale usted el titulo que quiera es una obra con al menos dos libros. En las paginas impares, el reto de empezar cada poema con el mismo verso nos descubre frente a un espejo donde somos la posibilidad que no fuimos: empezar por desconocernos, por querer ser otro, por ser ese otro y hablar con las plantas, por escribir los poemas que nos pasan, por ver el humo de las naves quemadas… en cada poema, un itinerario situacional y afectivo nos anticipa lo que las paginas pares nos iluminan con la misma frecuencia con la que nos oscurecen: en las pares, el poeta dialoga con un si mismo que podria ser cualquiera de nosotros. Con el cronopio de si mismo, con el alter ego, o con el desventurado Mateo haciendo una declaratoria de amor – odio para insistir en sus abismos. En las impares navegamos de a muertito mientras lustramos el collar con el que nos encadenan, o nos atamos a la nave que ya zarpa en vez de quemarla, como el antonimo del heroe que somos en esta ciudad que no es nuestra, andando por calles que no nos llevan a ningun lado. En las pares nos preguntamos a donde habremos de llegar entre ruinas, rosales y espinas, o nos percatamos de que, como en la vida, las cuentas nomas no salen. Y en ese dialogo, separado apenas por el puente de una hoja, reconocemos al poeta, a la pedacera de inicios que se ha vuelto de insistir en contrariar al pequeno Golem que lleva dentro. Reconocemos al cronopio-poeta, capaz de reiniciarse a cada nueva cagada de las que acumula varias al dia. Pongale usted… es un poemario que es dos o tres poemarios, y es tambien el relato de las tragedias cotidianas del hombre que –no esta de mas recordarlo- sonrie sus desgracias vallejianas con el hocico roto, blindado apenas por la palabra «paracaidas» y la bendicion de Huidobro. Estan aqui los milagros atemporales del mexicano universal que sobrevive a sus politicos con un «humorismo doloroso», y estan aqui las recetas de autoayuda mas inutiles (si es que hay libros de autoayuda que no sean inutiles) y mas absurdamente bellas que podamos leer durante la manana, cuando mas necesitamos de resetear nuestra suerte. Para la ciencia, el cronopio que flota en los poemas de este libro es un reflejo anti humano, un paradigma de hombre cognitivamente no estrategico. Para los poetas –que estan mas cerca de la locura, y por lo tanto, de la verdad- este cronopio que carece de toda pericia vital es simplemente el hombre en su circunstancia de no ser cenzontle. Pongale usted el titulo que quiera no es una Rayuela en su complejidad estructural, pero podria ser un changai, ese juego al que le bastaban dos palos, un hoyo en la tierra y tres formas de lanzar, tan lejos como fuera viable, la suerte del contrario; tan lejos que le fuera imposible acercarse a nuestros abismos. No es un libro que nos explique como hacer poemas; es un libro que nos explica como hacer poesia.
