Этот рассказ – финалист конкурса «Хорошие сценарии для России». Он написан в 2012 году, перед глазами стояла история Чаушеску, еще не было расправы народа над Каддафи и свержения других «товарищей». Текст очень реалистичен, актуален в наше время, и поэтому у него должен быть шанс стать прививкой для власти от ее избыточности и для народа – от бессмысленности самых крайних мер.

Дебютная книга должна быть плохой, это также очевидно, как и то, что она должна быть хорошей. Однажды Цутому Нихей погрузил меня в мир Blame! И выныривая, я написал данную книгу. Она посвящена всем любителям фантастики и манги, всем ценителям волшебства и магии, которые так же как и я порой думают: «Черт! А я вот сочинил бы в разы круче!».
