This is the third Volume in the series “Advances in Contact Angle, Wettability and Adhesion” initiated to consolidate information and provide commentary on certain recent research aspects dealing with this important topic. Its predecessor Volumes 1 and 2 were published in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Методические рекомендации посвящены новому методу разгрузки нижней конечности для лечения синдрома диабетической стопы. Метод заключается в наложении полужесткой иммобилизирующей разгрузочной повязки из полимерных материалов Softcast и Scotchcast. В результате достигается перенос значительной части нагрузки с области трофической язвы на другие участки стопы и на голень, что обеспечивает быстрое заживление. Метод обеспечивает высокую степень разгрузки конечности в амбулаторных условиях, позволяя пациенту выходить из дома, работать и т.п., без ущерба для процесса заживления трофической язвы.
